About Masechta Menachos · מסכת מנחות
Menachos learns the menachos - the flour offerings of the Beis HaMikdash - and the mitzvos that come with them. Like Zevachim it opens with an offering brought not for its own sake, and it learns the kemitzah, the handful the kohen takes from the minchah and burns on the mizbe'ach.
Its third perek turns to mitzvos where one part holds back another: the four parshiyos of tefillin, the four tzitzis, the seven lamps of the menorah. Here the Gemara teaches the writing of a Sefer Torah, tefillin and mezuzah, and tells of Moshe Rabbeinu, who saw Hashem tying crowns on the letters and was shown the shiur of Rabbi Akiva. The fourth perek, HaTecheiles, learns tzitzis and techeiles - whoever is careful with tzitzis merits to greet the Shechinah - and the student whose tzitzis struck his face and saved him from sin.
The later perakim learn which menachos come as matzah, the omer of the sixteenth of Nisan and the two loaves of Shavuos, the lechem hapanim on the Shulchan, the measures of oil and wine, and menachos a person vows. Menachos ends with the teaching that it is the same whether one gives much or little, as long as his heart is directed to Heaven.

A person must make a hundred brachos every day; this world was created with the letter hei and the World to Come with the letter yud; and Hashem's answer to Moshe when he was shown Rabbi Akiva's death: 'be silent - so it arose in My thought'. And whoever has tefillin on his head and arm, tzitzis on his garment and a mezuzah on his door is guarded from sin. Rabbi Meir taught that the blue thread of tzitzis is like the sea, the sea is like the sky, and the sky is like the Throne of Glory.

Masechta Menachos in the Daf Yomi
The 14th Daf Yomi cycle learned Masechta Menachos one daf a day for 109 days, from daf 2 to daf 110, from January 13, 2026 to May 1, 2026; the 15th cycle, which opens with Berachos on June 8, 2027, reaches it on June 16, 2033. Masechta Menachos is in Seder Kodashim, the fifth of the six orders of the Mishnah, and in the order of the Daf Yomi it comes after Masechta Zevachim and before Masechta Chullin. On each of those days the Daf Room opens the day's daf with its text and every shiur on it, and the rows above keep the shiurim of every daf of the masechta for anyone who learns at his own pace.
