About The Parsha In My Life - Rabbi Reuven Wolf

The Parsha In My Life - Rabbi Reuven Wolf is a teacher of Chassidus on Lehallel — the filtered YouTube platform. 1699+ of his recordings can be watched here, with no ads and no comments.

Rabbi Reuven Wolf teaches Chassidus, and his channel, The Parsha In My Life, brings its depth to the week a person is living. The largest part of it is a single long learning: the maamarim of 5672 - the long series the Rebbe Rashab began on Rosh Hashanah of that year - taught part by part and chapter by chapter: "Oteh Or KaSalmah", "Nachamu Nachamu Ami", "Zos Chukas", "Naso Es Rosh", "Uvrashei Chodsheichem" and "Vayedaber Moshe El Roshei HaMatos", each in dozens of parts.

Beside it he learns Dvar Malchus, the sichos of the Rebbe from 5751 and 5752, parsha by parsha and part by part; "Tanya for Daily Living", the Tanya chapter by chapter for the way a person lives; and other maamarim of Chassidus such as "Basi LeGani" of 5739, "Al Tatzur Es Moav", "B'Sha'ah She'alah Moshe LaMarom", "L'havin Inyan HaZimun" and his Thursday night shiur on the Biur of "Naso Es Rosh". "The Eighth Note" follows the parsha in its own series of episodes.

His talks on the parsha carry names that open a door: "Ki Sisa - Lunch in Heaven", "Ki Seitzei - Deathproof", "Eikev - A Frozen Generation", "Va'era - Super Powers, Ego and a Healthy Dose of Humility", "Chukas - A Well of Living Waters", "Beha'aloscha - It's Time for a Tune-up", "Shoftim - Trees and Us", "Yisro - A Higher Observance", and "Masei - An Epic Journey: the Name of Forty-Two". For the Jewish year there are "Shavuos - Why All the Noise?", "Lag BaOmer - 45 Powerful Lights", "Pesach - the Mechanics of Redemption", "Rosh Hashanah - Finding Your Personal Path", the deepest secrets of Tashlich, "Yom Kippur - Whose Business Is It?", Purim, Gimmel Tammuz, Selichos, a Siyum HaRambam, and a look at each coming year.

Moshiach runs through the whole channel: "Moshiach Matters", "Moshiach Decoded", and the long series "Wake Up, Moshiach Is Here - the Key to Redemption in Our Hand", episode after episode. He tells the lives of the tzaddikim - Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz, Rabbi Moshe Leib of Sassov - and "The Rebbe and the Belzer", and he gives a daily Chassidic thought.

Guests join him: Rabbi Moshe Genuth on "Being and Becoming" and "Leaping into Intelligence", Rabbi Elozar Bergman on becoming a mighty davener, Rabbi Mendel Zirkind on the third Beis HaMikdash, Rabbi Moshe Bryski on Yud Shevat and the Rebbe, and Rabbi Nir Menussi on the light that dispels darkness. There are the Yud-Tes Kislev "Cedars of Lebanon" concert, Hallel of Rosh Chodesh Sivan with Moshe Storch, a women's lunch and learn, and the Maayon Yisroel live stream. Each shiur opens on its own page, with no ads and no comments around it.
