Hello and welcome to the eighth note. This is episode nine, Parshas Korach. And as you can see, we're very lucky. Um, we get to do this in person. Um, I am Gitty Rapoport and this is my brother Rabbi Wolf from Mayanot Israel, who is not in LA right now, but in Crown Heights, um, for Gimel Tammuz. And so we get to do this in person, which is really nice. So, Parshas Korach is a very powerful sicha. I think when people heard it, they had didn't really know how powerful it was going to be because it's all about Gimel Tammuz, really before Gimel Tammuz. Uh, and the Rebbe really is I guess in a way preparing preparing everyone for this for what was going to happen on Gimel Tammuz. And if you learn it knowing what happened, you can really gain a lot of comfort and directive from the Rebbe. Personally for me, so interesting, I remember learning this sicha before Gimel Tammuz. And the reason why I remember it, I don't even know if we're going to get to this part of the sicha, but the reason why I remember it is the Rebbe talks about the different letters of the name Korach. And the kuf and the reish and the chaf and it was the first time that I had learnt up that the letters, the shape of the letters have so much significance. And to me that was just mind-blowing that every single letter has significance of
