okay everyone welcome to paraa in my life Paras Kisa this week's Torah portion and we're going to have some good serious learning today um and I chose this because it's very applicable today's days so let's get right to it so in this week's Torah portion there is a very sad story talks about the golden calf and God being about the golden calf and God being upset at the Jewish people very much after the sin of the golden calf and then Moshe Moses comes to the rescue and he's trying to gain forgiveness hold on just want to make sure this is not going to ring gain atonement and he basically does that by volunteering to have his name erased from the Torah fine after the primary um back and forth with God first being um back and forth with God first being upset with Israel saying he wants to wipe them out with the Jewish people and then the reconciliation coming through Moshe before Moshe gained complete forgiveness before he gained to bring the Jewish people back to the good graces so there was forgiveness there was already enough of a promise that God would not do what he intended to do a complete wipe out um but you can still see that the wedge was still there still see that the wedge was still there there was still a lack of intimacy and closeness later in the Torah portion Moshe is going to work on that he's like in a massage the relationship and he does that for 40 days 40 nights from the month of el the beginning of el until yum Kipper until he restores the relationship to where it was before and even deeper than where it was before that happens at the end but we're getting talk about some verses that
