We're going to be learning now. Um, this is going to be class number four in the symbiosis of body and soul. which we began a discourse for yonasan a couple of weeks ago. We are holding over here chapter nine. Um so to um to connect where we were holding so that we'll flow further just a brief review. We were learning about the idea of the gain that happens when the bo the soul descends into the body to rectify the body to live life in the physical world which means soul in body and how that great gain that the soul gets from being in the body it elevates the soul to much higher plays and there's two two explanations. Wait one minute. I have to I know what that is. One second. There's two explanations in the body in the in the um in the gain of the soul. through living life in a in an earthly body. Um, and the soul gains an elevation, a tremendous elevation. From the deeper perspective, we understand that a soul that is so holy and so godly and so it's an it's an entity. It's an entity of light, for it to come down and into a body is extremely painful. the soul comes down in the body. So we learned that there's two general explanations. One is that the soul is elevated because the fact that the body cannot persuade the soul and take the soul away from its attachment to God to seduce the soul away from Hashem from God. the fact that the soul is not able to um that the body is not able to you know
