thank you this series of classes is partial in my life so yeah there was something I I believe very relevant which I came across which I think is very speaks should speak very much for all of us today um so what's new what's new is that Jews are in the news now that's not really news because that's been going on forever the Jewish people have always been in the news and have always been in the front cover of the newspapers but particularly recently it almost feels like everything is evolving around like all the major stories it's all about it's a lot of talk about anti-Semitism and and uh this and that and and the people that have been vocally saying things and and all that stuff going on and are making lots of my brethren of fellow Jews uncomfortable some people have a little bit of the Jitters like is it safe for people to stay in the diaspora because of so much that has been going on um so I'd like to calm everybody in today's class and make sure that no one panics and everybody remains nice and calm because we have a very interesting teaching in this week's parisha that should give us I believe a lot of comfort and a lot of security and sense of living in very special times and we don't have to become what we call this spoil this ball means to become overworked by every time you glance in the news and this one says or that one says that that should cause Jewish history has been fraught with difficulties challenges and a lot of bloodshed and therefore it makes sense that people get nervous some people even ask me the
