okay good evening welcome to some holy teachings this is our new class i think this is uh let's see how many weeks we did it wow no i think i didn't do it kaiser i was out of town so we did it uh four weeks since the fifth week this is very serious serious good class this is very serious serious good class this is the class on some hasidic teachings on the parsha some little it's not meant to always be a class that is you know has one theme just little what we might call nuggets some hasidic thought on the parsha and over here is where i'm going outside of the world of chabad which is where i usually take and most of my teachings are and uh selecting the beautiful beautiful teachings and inspirational thoughts from the great hasidic masters are we focusing as we discussed earlier on two of the great sadhikim one um the zara kodesh the book the sarah kadesh which is from the holy roman estallian rapshits and the other one is which is from the great and saintly the name okay so um the beginning of this week's torah portion talks about yaakov going out of portion talks about yaakov going out of the land of israel and it says he's escaping he's running away he's going to his he's going to haran so we are known that yaakov avinu was paving the path for his children during the time of exile we spoke about this a little bit on monday night's class how yaakov spent much of his life and most of his accomplishments not inside the land of israel because the jewish people as his descendants also spend most of our time in our history outside of the land business
