Don't miss this week's Zera Shimshon class! Parshat Behaalotecha with Mordecai Holtz One of the powerful lessons of this week's parashah is that true greatness is not measured by power or recognition, but by humility. Moshe Rabbeinu, the greatest leader of Israel, remained the most humble of all people. Through his example, we learn that when we lower our ego and recognize Hashem's role in our lives, we open the door to greater blessings, growth, and salvation. 🎧 Join us and discover this inspi

Summary – Parashat Korach | Zera Shismhon This week we learned that not everyone who seeks greatness is meant to receive it. Korach was convinced that leadership belonged to him. He felt that because of his status and importance, he deserved greater honor. However, the Zera Shimshon teaches a surprising lesson: 🌙 The moon achieved greatness only after it made itself smaller. 💡 True greatness does not belong to the person who demands honor, but to the one who is humble. Sometimes we think tha

Weekly Summary – Parashat Chukat This week we learned a beautiful lesson about preparation and foresight. Hashem commanded the mitzvah of the Red Heifer long before Bnei Israel were able to fulfill it. Why? The Zera Shimshon explains that if they had waited until the Mishkan was completed, they would not have found a suitable red heifer that had never been used for work. 💡 Sometimes Hashem prepares us long before we understand why. This teaches us an important lesson: Not every mitzvah or opp

Weekly Summary – Parashat Pinchas This week we learned a powerful lesson about having the courage to do what is right. When the Jewish people faced a difficult moment, Moshe and the elders were silent for an instant. Pinchas remembered the halachah and chose to act. 💡 Sometimes doing the right thing means taking the first step, even when no one else does. The Zera Shimshon explains that Pinchas' reward was far greater than simply becoming a Kohen. Hashem granted him an *eternal covenant of pe

Weekly Summary – Parashat Eikev This week we learned that drawing closer to Hashem is about much more than words. The Zera Shimshon teaches that a meaningful spiritual life is built through love, devotion, and commitment to Hashem, by fulfilling His mitzvot and showing kindness to others. 💡 Our relationship with Hashem is not measured only by our prayers or Torah study. It is reflected in the way we speak, the choices we make, and the way we treat the people around us. Every mitzvah, every

Weekly Summary – Parashat Re’eh This week we learned a powerful lesson: Many people look for good fortune through lucky charms, rituals, or popular traditions, believing these will bring success and blessings. But the Zera Shimshon reminds us that true blessing never comes from luck—it comes from Hashem. 💡 We don’t need to imitate what everyone else is doing to succeed. When we place our trust in Hashem and live according to the Torah, He guides our path. It is easy to believe that success

Weekly Summary – Parashat Ki Tetze This week, the Zera Shimshon gives us a beautiful message about the strength of Torah and the importance of doing good from the heart. Bilam wanted to curse the Jewish people, but Hashem turned his curse into a blessing. The Zera Shimshon explains that one blessing never disappeared: the strength of our synagogues and places of Torah study. ✨ As long as we continue learning Torah, praying, and staying close to Hashem, that strength will always be with us.

💙 A thought for this week — Parashat Ki Tavo: The Zera Shimshon reminds us that staying close to Hashem brings strength and blessing into our lives. Every mitzvah, every moment of Torah, and every good choice helps strengthen that connection. Sometimes we look for big changes, but real growth often begins with the small things we choose to do every day. ✨ Keep growing, appreciate the blessings around you, and remember that every step toward Hashem matters. Shabbat Shalom! 💙

Weekly Summary – Parashat Nitzavim–Vayelech This week, the Zera Shimshon teaches us a powerful lesson: we don't need to be perfect before we begin to change. We simply need to choose the direction we want to go. The Torah tells us: “Choose life.” At first, this seems obvious. Who wouldn't choose life? But the Zera Shimshon explains a much deeper idea. Sometimes we want to grow, become closer to Hashem, do more mitzvot, or become better people, but we feel that we're not ready yet. ✨ Hashem

A thought for this week — Parashat Nitzavim–Vayelech The Zera Shimshon teaches that unity brings us closer to redemption. 🍎 Rosh Hashanah Special – Weekly Message This week, the Zera Shimshon shares a beautiful lesson for Rosh Hashanah. Our Sages ask why we don't say Hallel on Rosh Hashanah as we do on other holidays. The Zera Shimshon explains that these days are different because the Books of Life are open and our new year is still being written. ✨ And that gives us a beautiful message: our story is still being written. Rosh Hashanah is our opportunity to think about the year ahead—what we want to improv

🍎 A Rosh Hashanah thought from the Zera Shimshon: On Rosh Hashanah, the Books of Life and Death are still open and the final judgment has not yet been decided. It is a time to turn to Hashem with sincerity and prayer. ✨ May we all be written and sealed for a sweet, blessed year filled with good news. Shanah Tovah Umetukah! 🍯💙

Weekly Summary – Parashat Haazinu This week, the Zera Shimshon teaches us about bringing Torah into our everyday lives. He speaks about Zimun, the invitation said before Birkat Hamazon when three people eat together. He explains that it is more than simply thanking Hashem for our food—it helps turn our table into a place of holiness and connection to Hashem. The Zera Shimshon adds that this becomes even more meaningful when words of Torah are shared at the table. ✨ An ordinary meal can bec

Weekly Summary – Parashat Bereshit This week, the Zera Shimshon teaches us a beautiful lesson about the importance of peace, kindness, and second chances. When Hashem was about to create mankind, the angels had different opinions. Some believed humans should be created because they would be capable of doing good and helping others. Others disagreed because people would also tell lies and create conflicts. But Hashem chose to create mankind. 💡 What can we learn from this? The Zera Shimshon e
