Shalom Aleichem, everyone, and welcome to Yard Sight Yomi. Chafal El-Khejman is the Yard Sight of Ravdavid Ben-Ravshloma Ibn Abi-Zimra, better known by the acronym Radvaaz, one of the greatest Talmudic scholars of his time and the famed authority on Lacha. The Radvaaz was born in Spain about the year 1479 and was only about 13 years old when the Jews of Spain were expelled in 1492 and he was among those who had to wander out in search of a new home. The family of the Radvaaz went to Artsisuram for some time lived in Svaas in Ushalayim and here, while still quite young, the Radvaaz became known as an outstanding Torah scholar. About the age 31, the Radvaaz left Ushalayim for some unknown reason and came to Fezmarako. He became a member of the Bezdin under the Nagid Yitzhakakon Shalal and later the Radvaaz went to Egypt and finally settled in Cairo. He became the chief rabbi of Egypt, a post which he held for 40 years. The Radvaaz was a man of independent means and as a successful merchant became quite wealthy with business connections in other countries like some of the Venetian merchants of his time. Having amassed a considerable fortune, he generally distributed the greater portion of it among the poor. His saintly qualities and extraordinary scholarship endeared him to all. He had a tremendous influence not only among his people but also in the higher spheres of the Egyptian government. His dedicated leadership brought about a great spiritual revival in the life of the Jewish communities of Cairo and Alexandria and he instituted important bylaws to improve the standards of communal services particularly in the Shul and the synagogues and to strengthen all aspects of the religious life of Egyptian Jewry. One example is that the Radvaaz reintroduced the custom of the entire congregation saying Vami Da before the Shliyacht Sibor repeats the Shmona Esri. It seems that in Egypt many Jews had a custom in which the congregation didn't say Vami Da silently for themselves. Another important institution was that they reintroduced the custom of reckoning the years since creation as opposed to following the reign of Alexander of Macedon and other emperors. There are many different customs that the Radvaaz introduced to the Egyptian and general Middle Eastern society. The Radvaaz supported a large Yashiv in Cairo and its fame attracted many outstanding Talmudim among them, Rabitzal, Shkanazgi, Yashiv and the Ariza. The Radvaaz has a prominent place among the great post-common old times, being recognized as a leading authority on Halacha, Rabbanim and communities from far and near turned him with questions and problems and he wrote more than 3,000 responses, most of which had been eventually gathered and published. These Shals and Shubas are of great historic importance, throwing much light on various aspects of Jewish life in various communities and countries in those days. They are written in a fine and lucid style and reflect his extraordinary power of learning and wisdom. The Radvaaz is also the author of many other works such as Kholi Ha-Gemara, Divre David on the Rambam, Yikart of Therese and other works on Kabbalah as well, or Qadim and Sardas David, etc., many others. At the age of 90, the Radvaaz left Cairo and moved to Shulayim. The Jewish community in Shulayim at that time lived in difficult economic conditions, made more difficult by heavy taxation. There was an Arab governor who was an averacious man and he posed particularly heavy taxes on the Radvaaz and being almost impossible to live in Shulayim, he then moved to the Svaaz, which was at that time a center of great Talmudic scholars and Kabbalahs among them. Rebya said Cairo the Vesyo is safe and the Radvaaz was received in Svaaz with tremendous honor and continued his learning and writing in peaceful and happy surroundings. It was in the Holy Land of Eretz Yisrael that the Radvaaz spent the last 20 years of his long and fruitful life. He passed away in the year 1589 at the extraordinary age of 110 years old and was laid to rest in the Svaaz cemetery. But of course, he lives on in his timeless works and immense influence which have enriched the eternal spiritual heritage of our people. Yehezich Rebarov, Sepulsa, Yagan, Alaynu.

Shalom Aleichem, everyone, and welcome to Yard Sight Yomi. Chavpeh is the Yard Sight of Levushe Srad, Revdavit Shlima Ibshitsatsal, the Saroka Rev, he was a Rev of Saroka at the end of his life. I love the Levushe Srad. I am inspired by the Levushe Srad. And it's interesting that in one of the Yard Sight listings, it expresses that Revdavit Shlima was most well known for his work on Chogesh Arbe Nakhau. I'm not that familiar with the Arbe Nakhau, if anyone wants to familiarize me within and learn it with me, I'd be interested. But I am much more familiar with Levushe Srad as perish on Shulchanarok. Levushe Srad is an extremely concise, short, it's like notes on the Shulchanarok, and really on the Shulchanarok and at the Taz and the Mogin Avram. And unlike those that came before him, like the Prima-Gadam, Makhsa Shekel, which are Mayrech, and they discuss different situations and bring different Prima-Gadam, you'll find in one comment you could find as many as five, seven, ten sources being brought. Makhsa Shekel, the Makhsa Shekel is not that different. In Levushe Srad, it's just notes. It's just pusher explaining what the Ramaz is saying, what the Taz is saying, what the Mogin Avram is saying. It's simply notes, very brief, usually just telling you, like, this is a Tyre Cypher, or he really means as follows, don't be... And I'll give you an example, just a random example, just plucked out of the middle. If you look at the beginning of Shulchanarok, where the Shulchanarok is talking about the dinner of Natila Sidayim in the morning. So, the Shulchanarok provides us with three sy'ethim in Simondalad, in the dinner of Natila Sidayim, three different situations. If a person was up all night, if a person woke up before dawn and washed his hands, does he have to wash again after dawn? And if a person slept during the day. So there are three different situations described in Shulchanarok. In all three, the Makhhaber says yeish sastak. It's a sastak if you need a wash, if you need a wash. And in all three, the Ramah ends off with the exact same three words, the Yitlein B'laib Rakhah. So let's say Yitzul night, we learned this in the advance of the Yom Tadavshuas. The Ramah writes that you're up all night, Yitlein B'laib Rakhah, wash without a break. Let's say a person wakes up before dawn, he washes his hands. So after dawn, maybe you need a wash again, says Ramah again, Yitlein B'laib Rakhah. And in the third scenario, let's say a person sleeps during the day. When you wake up, says the Ramah, Yitlein B'laib Rakhah. Now again, wash without a break. Says Levushe Sradd, beautifully, he points out that, so it looks like it's all the same thing. Yitlein B'laib Rakhah. Says Ramah, no, no, no, no, wait, wait, well, be careful. In the first scenario, it's just such a beautiful thing that only Levushe Sradd could point out. In the first situation, a person's up all night, it's a Makhlaikis harishaynim if you need a wash, your hands, if you need to make a brachah, if you need to wash your brachah. It's a big ahrih, ahrihahs, the Raj beheld, you need to make a brachah like plug, because it's a new day, so it doesn't matter if you slept in the rush held, no, you never slept. You don't even need a wash, forget a brachah. So Yitlein B'laib Rakhah is because of Sathit Brachas Lahakal. Points out to Levushe Sradd that in the other situations, if, let's say, you already washed your hands before dawn, so we want to wash our hands again, there's no Suffik you should make a brachah, there would never be a brachah, nobody holds you make a brachah in that situation. But wash your hands in the event that maybe there's a brachah. Likewise, if you slept during the day, there's no brachah, the brachah is only by Shachris. So in the first situation, it looks so similar when the Ramam writes the exact same three words, the Yitlein B'laib Rakhah, three scenarios where we wash our hands, means Suffik, says Levushe Sradd, just be careful of it, it's not the exact same thing. The first situation, you're not making a brachah, the Suffik is whether or not you should make a brachah, you're not making a brachah, because Suffik brachas Lahakal. In the latter two situations, you know why you're not making a brachah? Because you're not supposed to, the only Suffik is, do you need a wash? So we're Mahmoud and we wash our hands. But there's no Shaila, there is no Suffik, it's not Suffik brachas Lahakal, there's a din, it's a din that you don't need to make a brachah, what a beautiful halara. And this is Constanel Levushe Sradd who's always pointing out, I didn't give you the best example, the other, but I gave you, the other examples would be more technical, where he's working out the wordings of the Ramah or of the Mahginev Ram. But the beautiful Levushe Sradd really gives us a sense that there's an expression that we find many times in the Mepharsim, Makhiminikhuli min Hashemayim l-airer, min Hashemayim l-haisif, that Hashem left over a place, min Haseh, Sengh al-Qaynab as-Sahih, on this beautiful parish Levushe Sradd. If you want to learn Shulkhun Arkh without the Pilpob, without a lot of rage, just push it to understand. Ramah Mghev Ramtaz comes along Levushe Sradd and he does this magnificent, phenomenal job. Yehé Zichre Baruch, you know why? Because we'll get an inspiration that we always, each one of us, have our portion, have what to add to the Torah Hashem, to the Torah that was given to us, every one of us has a portion that we could bring and be and fulfill our portion in explaining the Torah in our own way.

Shalom Aleichem, everyone, and welcome to Yartsite Yomi. Khabbe's Khejvan is the Yartsite of the Third Belze Rebbe, known as the Fridege Rebbe. Reb Yisachar Dey ben Reb Shalom Reikeach Zatzal, who the Chassin referred to as the Sochre Bear. Sochre Bear succeeded his father, Reb Yishua, known as the Middle Rebbe, as head of the Mahzik-e-Addaas Movement, organization founded by the Middle Rebbe for the purpose of strengthening Torah observance in Galicia. During the First World War, the Fridege Rebbe, Yisachar Bear, fled to Hungary and returned to Galicia in 1921. There's a beautiful account regarding Reisachar Bear, when he was just a child, with his grandfather, the Alte Rebbe, the Tsar Shalom, and just to clarify, this account would assume that the Rebbe was born long ago enough that he was already a young child when the Tsar Shalom was nipter in 1855. This would assume, there's different reports, but assuming that the Rebbe was born early enough in 1851, 1852, so it goes like this, the Rebbe Reb Yisachar Bear, when Yisachar Dey was a young child of four years old, three or four years old, so his grandfather was very fond of him. He saw in him that he was the qualities of leadership and the Tsar Shalom, the Alte Rebbe, one fine day called over his son, his grandson after he came home from Haider, and he was holding him on his lap and hugging him, and he spoke to him for a little bit, and later the Tsachar Dey's father of Yeshua, the Mithal Rebbe, asked him, what did the Zedah say to you? And the Tsachar Dey said, I don't remember, I don't know, he was a child, he was four years old. And from time to time, the Rebbe Yisachar would try to get his son to remember what the Zedah told him, even after the Zedah passed away, by the Tsachar Bear's Bar Mitzvah, the Zedah, I don't remember, I was just a child, by his Hasno, what did the Rebbe tell you? I don't remember. Yava Iyayim in 1894, a tough race, Nundalid, when the first Rebbe, the Mithal Rebbe, Yeshua passed away, so our feature Rebbe Tsachar Dey was sitting Shiva, and when he finally got up for Shiva, he wanted to learn, he hadn't learned for seven days, he took a Chumashmais and he's learning, suddenly remember, he jumped up, he said, I suddenly remember what my Zedah told me when I was four years old, and he told those that were very interested in listening, those that were around him, he said as follows, he said that when my grandfather called me over and he asked me, you knew what you learned in Haida today, and I told him that the Rebbe told us what it says in Parshashmais, that Hashem appeared to Maeshrabeen by the burning bush, by the snare, and he said, you're going to come, you're going to tell Klai Yisro, they're going to be redeemed, and Maeshrabeen who said, mi anayi chi ki eilei chalpah rebe chi aitsis bine isom mitzrayim, so the boy, Tsachar Bair said that my Rebbe told me that Maeshrabeen who said, what's chuiya is to bine Yisroel have, that they should leave mitzrayim, so Tsachar Bair is telling over his grandfather, I asked my, I asked the Rebbe in the Haider, he said, is this how Maesh, this is how Maeshrabeen who talks, Maeshrabeen who's always looking for good of Klai Yisro, he said, oh, what's chuiya do they have, how could it be that Maesh Rebeen would talk that way, and Tsachar Bair, Tsachad Bair says over, oh, my grandfather was so proud of me, he said, oh, that's such a good, that's such a good kasha, that's such a good question you're asking, let me explain to you, my child, that Maeshrabeenu avada, he would not, he, he, it's not proper for a leader, a monarch to talk this way, but Maeshrabeenu was saying as follows, Maeshrabeenu knew that Akhilesh Baruchu was going to redeem Klai Yisro, even no matter what madriga they were on, and he wanted to hear, he wanted to clarify, make it clear, he wanted to hear from Hashem's mouth, that he would redeem Klai Yisro no matter what madriga they're on, because something that Hashem says, something that's written in the Torah is, is, is something that will give a strength and encouragement for the future dires, that it will give a pizgrin path for all the tzadikim, that no matter what darr, no matter what madriga any darr is on, there'll be a Yishul for Yisro on every matzah that they are, and the Rebbe said, Rebbe Sakheber said, that my grandfather told me when I was just a little child, my Zedah said, you're going to be a Manig one day, and it's appropriate that you should know the Darke Hanhaga, the way to view Klai Yisro, Lahamlut's Taiba Yisro, to always look for good of Klai Yisro, and to Da'van, and to hope that, and to express Ta'a Kodesh Baruchu, that he should have mercy on his children no matter what matzah they're on. This is the beautiful Hadracha Hanhaga that the Rebbe Sar Shalom gave over to his grandson, the, the Friedegger Rebbe Sakheber, and Baruch Hashem, we find the beautiful Hemschech of Belzech Hasidus, that to this very day has a, has a Hemschech of the Belze dynasty, but through the wonderful chain, going all the way back to the Sar Shalom, through this beautiful link of the Friedegger Rebbe of Sakheber, Hei Zichre Baruch, Zuchus Ayyag and Alayno.

So overall everyone, this is Yartzai Yomi and we are continuing our feature on the Levousheh Srad I think better known as the Arbe Nachal and this edition is generously sponsored by a loyal Yartzai Yomi follower who has Granted me this piece beautiful piece and asked that we feature This beautiful diva artira from the Arbe Nachal where it's very brilliant piece I never saw the safety before I'm not gonna lie, and I really thank this anonymous individual for his support and his Request over here that it says like this in last week's Power Shirts is garishes. I'm a zeis that's been a that's Sara insists that The Yishmal Who was demonstrating behavior that he didn't appreciate the hierarchy of Yitzchak the hierarchy of the One who is the son of Sari Manu? So Sara expressed that it's necessary that Yishmal be be rejected and As we know Avramavino was very upset about says the The Levousheh Srad of Davesh Lema Ibasheh's that's out that we know that the Abbey's Hackadashim On their very high level. We're no we're not even though before Mantira Everyone was considered being there, but the others were on a higher level and even though it wasn't given Avramavino Was on the level of a Ben Yisrael, but with his great in his great humility He said a night he offered a for in fact we find that He can sit himself a regular Ben Nayak ever say shabbaneen a night he mocked him So Avramavino Luchar did not consider himself to be on a higher level than anyone else But Sara Emenu says the Arbeynachal Sara knew the greatness of Avramavino and understood that he's like a Ben Yisraeli separate from anyone else and Therefore as follows when it comes to what's the halakha in Shulchanach and Emenez and Semindal and Sivavzak the Arbeynachal By guy we follow the father but by it right when we want to try to determine the Nationality of an individual by guy and we follow the father when it comes to a but when it comes to the Clot in Yisrael we follow the mother, but akum halakha ha-zakhab Yisrael Avlad Yisrael ha-Vlad Meshpacha The Nakhris Karibna that if we have a Jewish mother that's considered a Yid So this is he's brilliant that he watches the way he pieces to get the psukim. Therefore when Yishmal was You know struggled or there was a friction with Yitzhak regarding the Arusha Sara says Goresh as ha-a ma azayis fesbina Isn't that brilliant? Sara doesn't say let's you know, please Dispel this your son Yishmal. No, she refers to him as ha-a ma azayis fesbina The maidservant and her son why because it's not considered your son Avramino, but Avramavino said no By Yair Abun Abal, Aydeis bin Nay. It's his son Because why Avramino said I'm not different than anyone else. I'm considered a ben Nayach So we go back to the father. So this it's my son And what does Hashem say of Al-Mu'lai Hashem the pasuk says Al-Yair Abinah al-Hanar It shouldn't be that what you're doing to the Nahr Hashem doesn't refer to him as a son because Hashem says Koshetami Lachasar Hashemah bekayla. She's right It's not your son. You're a Ben Yisrael Avramavino has the dinner of a Ben Yisrael and therefore we go after the mother Yishmal's mother is not Jewish therefore that boy is not considered a Yidva Omar. I'll give you Nahr And it doesn't say b'nchal very good Koshetami Lachasar Hashemah bekayla because according to Sara You know as far as Yichas is concerned. It's not considered your son We'll be Yitzchak Yikar Lachasarah Yitzchak's the true heir the true Yairish of Avramavino And it says Yitzchak Yikar Lachasarah Lachasarah Yitzchak will be called yours because Yitzchak is the one that's yours. And then The gamas b'nah so then Hashem promises don't worry gamas b'nah ma'zais lekaya si menu I'm gonna make this son of a maidservant doesn't say that he's your child but out of respect for the Zoktel the Avrinachal Lachvaidcha esa mikomakum Zahrachulom isa Biologically Avadi Yishmal is the offspring of Avramavino, but it's not considered a son So that's beautiful the conversation Avramavino refers to him by Yaira That I had his reference from Avramavino's perspective It says Yishmal is called a son because Avramavino is a son Sari means refers to him as Ben Ha'ama'zais Gerasama That's b'nah. He's the Ben Ha'ama. He's the son of the maidservant. He's not your son. And Hashem akvyachul Pascans or decides like Sara Ayyera b'nachal ha na'ar. It's a lad. Hashem doesn't refer to him as a son But promises K'itsul k'ykar lecha zara Yitzchak is your is lecha zara is the offspring of Avramavino Began this Ben Ha'ama'zais I see men will go I see men who I'm gonna make the son of the maidservant to a great nation as well After all it is your biological offspring. It's so brilliant the incredible the Yukim that the Avri nachal makes based on the alohan ebenez and alohan shul khanarach That the son of a b'nahyach the child of b'nahyach also the b'nahyach follow the the Nationality of the father when it comes to Ben Yisrael we follow the mother Brilliant piece, and I thank very much our generous sponsor And I thank you up listening the s'chos of the l'bushay sra'a d'arbe nachav d'hav shloyma l'ayp shet slas l'arakarav Should stand as a maleitiation for us and all of Klai Yisrael

Shalom u'vachem, my dear brother, and in the waiting hours of Chalkbeth's Resh and Well, and the East Devilsphere might be over already, but either way, let's talk, let's say a beautiful Torah thought from the third Belzereb, the Ravisakhidov Rakeh Zatzal, as follows. You shall be wondering why it is that if we start saying, we start dominating Masha Rukh Mardagashem, specifically by Musa, Ashmiah Tsaras, why shouldn't it be like we do by Yalav Yavai or Saint Al-Mathar? We start the night before, at the beginning of that day. So, Marab is the first field of day, the day begins at night. Let's start asking, let's start mentioning Masha Rukh Mardagashem at night. Zakt, that's through Shalmi's discussion. So the Belzereb gives his own explanation by citing a medrish in Vayikur Abba that refers to, I think we have a similar discussion in the Gomorrah, it's had a head-rendaf Lamid test, is it? Or maybe Khaf test? Anyway, regarding the creation of Adem-Ur-Rishan that Hashem created Adam, in stages, it was the seventh hour where it says, Vayipa khaapam nishmas khaim, that Hashem gave Adem-Ur-Rishan life. It was the seventh hour of the day. Says the Belzereba, that when Adam understood that she was just created as the first man, he gave, he'd started to dab into Hashem, he realized the tremendous gratitude he has, he dab into Hashem. Now, the Torah tells us, regarding the creation of man, that Hashem didn't send rain, Adial-Arts-Khila-Him-Tir, there was no, Adem-Ayin-Lavidah, there was nobody to work the land. Zakt-Rashi, there was no rain because no one would appreciate the rain. But when Adem came and saw that the world needed rain, he dabbed and it came. So now he had the rain and now the vegetation began to grow on trees, etc. So very simply, Zakt-The-Belzereba, when Adem stood on his feet, he started dabbing. What was he doing? He dabbed for rain. He dabbed for rain. No. So Mame'la, when did he dab for rain? It was in that seventh hour when he was created at the time of Mus'ab. Because Shachris, you can't dab in Shachris, well, some do, but the time for Shachris is over at Chatsaysayin, Zakt-Reb, and it's before Mincha. What's the time for? Mus'ab. Zakt-The-Belzerebi-Shu-Reb-Sachar-Dei. The Shmak. So the first phila for rain, recognizing the Godless Haba'iri of Mash'abharuach, Mernagashim, that Adem uttered was at the time of Mus'ab, was in the seventh hour. The Na'elah, the time to dab in for rain, when do we begin dabbing for rain? At the seventh by Mus'ab, the seventh hour. In other words, we are following and replicating the behavior of Adem-Irishin, or the act of Adem-Irishin that he dabbed in, only in the seventh hour, only at the time, not of Shachris, not of Mincha, but of Mus'ab. What a brilliant insight, what a gorgeous understanding of the ailing of Belzerebi,

Okay, Shalom overacham, my friends. I guess this is a follow-up regarding the yard side of the Chesed Lavram. Lavram was the Lai'skhus Yerlain, whose yard side was Trey Chaptal Cheshvon. It's one of those heartwarming responses that I received as a direct result from the feature that we did on the Chesed Lavram. You know, I just want to express that, you know, Yartay Yomi is the labor of love where I generally have a great interest in learning and sharing and studying the lives of our great, the lives and ideals and lessons that can be gleaned from our great Sadiqam and great leaders. And often I'm usually familiar, at least somewhat, and I look more into it and I share, I try to give over what can be gleaned, what can be learned from those Sadiqam. And sometimes I have no idea it's just a name or it's just the name of the safer. I never heard of the Chesed Lavram. I have to admit I'm not familiar with the life story or the writings of Vravarah Zulai and I appreciate those came forward that shared stories. Not everything was shared on Yartay Yomi, but either way you know, sometimes I have no idea, but I see it's the Chesed Lavram where I saw some appreciation about it. So I look into it a little bit, a little bit somewhat and I share usually a biographical sketch. What's very interesting is I shared the this piece on the Chesed Lavram was it last night, I posted last night, but someone had said to me, you know, it's so funny. I got a response that on Shabbos I had this little pamphlet over here and I shared at the table a very interesting idea or an insight from the Chesed Lavram and everyone said who's the Chesed Lavram? I said I have no idea and then I see your post on Yartay Yomi, the Chesed Lavram, Vravarah Zulai. How do you like that? And I'll tell you what it says. I'm gonna post a copy of the sheet, this nice individual, I lost touch of him, but either way he sent me this beautiful idea that the Chedah's great-grandfather in his Chesed Lavram, I think we said the Chesed Lavram was the great-grandfather of the Chedah. He writes at the Malach Rafal it was by the when Avraham Avinu was greeted, encountered the three Malachim at the beginning of Parsha's Vayera. So the Chesed Lavram writes that the Malach Rafal appeared as a par and then after Avraham, Avraham got two parim to Shaqt, he wanted a third because he wanted to give them tongue. The Pasuk tells us, right? And it says, what does it say over here? Hold on. He wanted a third par. So he saw this par, which was actually the Malach Rafal, he went to get it almost, you know, lassoed it in and the par went further away till it got to the Mars of Mahpheila. And Avraham was, he smelled the reach, like it says in this week's Parsha, he told us by when Yitzr al-Kathabruchas Vayera has reach, as reach begoda, he smelled the reach of Ganeidin, and he found Adam and Chabah were buried there and he knew that this would be the place where he would be buried and sorrow would be buried. He understood the value of the property Anyways, he then easily took the par back with him. So the par was sent, the Malach Rafal was sent to the form of a par to show Avraham Avivnu the the Mars of Mahpheila. And when he got home, so again the par disappeared. The fall is the ACA's of par cal, which is obviously a very Khashava cal, Khashava par. So it with no time to spare, Avraham had to create a new par with the St. Piazzera. And this is what it says, who ben avakrashur asa, the pasuk says that he made the ben bakr. He literally created a calf. You hear that? Scary stuff. That's what it says. He, with the St. Piazzera, he created a third par. And so Neisakar says that that there's a it's not clear for maybe a Kibirot, or maybe the Akhab was Avavivnu. So, but the Khashava Avraham explains that this is why he served this par. This was the one that was served together with khala, with milk, because it's not real meat. It was a ben bakrashur asa. So it was together, it was served together with khala because it's not possible khala. It was just a cow that he created that Avavivnu created. Okay, wild stuff, not necessarily my type, you know, a little bit esoteric. But this is what the Khashava Avraham writes, and it was this, he had shared this with me. He said, I had no idea who the Khashava Avraham was. People say, yeah, who wrote that? So the Khashava Avraham, I know who the Khashava Avraham was, but thanks to Yertzai Yomi, he was able to hear a little bit about the Khashava Avraham as well. Yertzai, again, was Tenei Khabdaal Khashvim. So such a wonderful, when these things happen, it's very heartwarming. And I, you know, I have tremendous Takarash Baruchu for allowing me the opportunity and the Zochos to provide and to learn and to just try to try to glean a little bit from the great sadikim, from our great Torah leaders. May Hashem grant us the continued opportunity to continue to learn from our great leaders and great heroes. Thank you all. Have an excellent day.

Shalomu'vachah everyone, this is the art site Yomi. Khabdal Khezman is the art site of the Chesed la Avraham, Ravram Azulay Zadzal, great God al-Batoira of the 16th and 17th century, aside of course from the safaries name, that's from Chesed la Avraham. Ravram was a prolific author, many others from Kyrs Arba, Balibur Savram, or Akhama, kind of for A.M., Maiseh Kheyshev and many others. He was the great grandfather of the Chida, who the Chida, aside from being a great, you know, a godel in his own right, was a renowned biographer. So we have a lot of information on the Chesed la Avraham, from the writings of his great-grandson. Ravram Azulay was born in Fez, Morocco, to Ravmortchai, until the age of 30. Ravram resided in Fez and in 1600 he finally boarded a ship to fill his life stream, headed to Eretz Yisrael. And the only possessions he took with him were the many manuscripts of his Khidushim, which were, unfortunately, lost at sea during a storm. And instead of falling into despair, Ravram said that the loss of our possessions really is a tremendous kappar for us. If not for the miracle that occurred, you know, we would have suffered the same fate as our belonging. So we should thank Hashem for rescuing us and accept the Makhab of the Yisram, the Ahava. And he committed that as soon as he reached Eretz Yisrael he will compose new Khidushim, which we have today. The Khidah relates in Sheim HaGdailim that from then on Ravram commemorated the miracle he would sign his name in the form of a ship. Very interesting. And after the voyage Ravram settled in Khebrn and the base medicine in Khebrn, Ravram once found a number of loose pages in a safer and they turned out to be the manuscript of the handwriting. They turned out to be a manuscript of the Arizal himself, in the handwriting of Arizal. So Ravram went on a search through the many but the medrish in Khebrn found many more such pages. And to some extent Ravram said that he was he was comforted by finding these, he was comforted for the pain of losing his own Khidushim by finding these previously unknown manuscripts. Unfortunately his peaceful life in Khebrn didn't last very long. An epidemic broke out in the Yihannis family he had to move to Ushalayim. Unfortunately the plague spread to Ushalayim as well and they were forced to move to Gaza. They lived in Gaza for some time. Ravram made a nether that if Hashem would protect him and he returned safely to Khebrn, he would write a safer of all his Khidushim over the years. And in Khebrn when he kept what he was able to go back to Khebrn, Ravram wrote his major work on Kabbalah entitled Kyrias Arba. Of course named Kyrias Arba for the city of Khebrn. An interesting that Haftal Khazan, I believe always falls out on the parasha of Ha-Yasara or almost always. So it's that the same safer of Kabbalah that he wrote in Khebrn called Kyrias Arba by the Khaisal Avram, which is his yard that is always Haftal Khazan. It's based on the teachings of the four great Kabbalists. The Ramachna, Rizar, Haimditan, Ravram Galanti, later in Gaza again. Ravram composed three more from Bali Bissavram, which is in commentary on the Haftal Sebritanach and of course Khaisal Avram, which contains the Kabbalistic drushes based mainly on the works of Mershikotavira and Ariza. In addition to this, he wrote Kanaaf Rananim, which is a summary of the Kavanahs of the Phyllis according to Ariza, Maesah Khaishe, which is a summary of the Kavanahs of the Ariza on the Mitzvahs. I have a betanugim on the Mishnah, Hagos, the Saper, Lovush on the Shulchanarach. Ravram lived in Khebrn until his passing and Ravram was buried in the Old Cemetery of Khebrn. Hezif Abbas was a young Nalino.

Shalom Aleichem everyone and welcome to Yartsite Yomi. Today Khabar Khejvon marks the 16th Yartsite of Rav Elyu Yurkansky Zatsal Rosh Hashirah with Mir Yashiv in Brooklyn. He was Nifter in the year 2005 at the age of 97. Rav Elyu was born in Minsk, Belarus to his parents Rav Rum and Rakholeya. Rav Rum would attach himself to Tamiya Chahamim and during World War I, when many Jews were fleeing the battle lines and were escaping to Minsk, he invited a young refugee into his home and with his keen eye Rav Rum discerned that this unknown Tamiya Chahamim was unique. And young Elyu often followed this anonymous young man into Shul to observe him in his later years. Rav Elyu would finally describe how this young man, Rav Rum Yashaya Karelitz, who was later to become known as the Khazan Ish, would sit in the back of the Shul with the different wayfarers and dab in with intensity and learn with tremendous consistency. When young Elyu approached the age of Bar Mitzvah, his parents realized that in order for him to learn Taira, he needs to cross over to Poland. And when he reached the border, some smugglers hit him in a farmer's wagon and thus he was able to arrive in the city of Baranivac. And his lack of resources, when he was in Baranivac, his lack of resources meant that he had to make do with sleeping on the benches and essence tag where he would eat daily meals at the home of one of the townspeople switching hosts from day to day. But for ten years, Rav Elyu became an extremely close talmud of the great Rashi Sheva Baranivac, Rav Ochanon Basim, and it was then that he learned together he would form a lifelong relationship to the Taira of Rav Ochanon and he is considered one of the integral part of the unbreakable chain of the messera that transferred the Taira near Shemayim from Europe to the East Shores. And he would often quote from Ochanon in Sheer and sometimes cautioned the Talmud to listen well or they may miss a pshat from Ochanon that had never been printed. After his years in Baranivac, he went to the Mir Yashiva. And in the Mir, he was recognized as one of the ariashebuchavu were the lines of the Mir learning as Chabrusa with Rav Minzka Ilyu, Rav Yonah Minzker, Rav David Kroenglass and a Michal Birmbaum who was Lele Mashiach and was sifted far as we shall lie. Rav Ilyu was an Isha Sholim. He treated each and every person with utmost respect and dignity. When he passed away, they would lament that one of the Matike Hashemua, the record as a tradition, who connected the Bnei Taira on the East Shores to the great Yashiva and the Rashi Sheva of yesteryear was lost. But the Mir had told me that he molded will continue learning and teaching Taira in his path and the way of his rebellion.

Shalom over everyone. This is your site. You owe me today was Monday huff of Mark I'm gonna mark the third yard site of revival cone that's all the body has shulchan What an absolute pillar of truth a human embodiment of the ms of straight forwardness of Laysa grew me. She feared Hashem to the exclusion of everything else a man of incredible fortitude and inner strength And it's incredible. I'll show you now. I think that Revival's that's how It says here that he couldn't have been clear. He did not want any of spade them. Okay. I hope this is not considered a husband I don't want to defy his wishes. So if this is considered a husband, it's not me talking Anyway, whatever you'll call debris zekar and whatever the workarounds or pretenses that are sometimes deployed, you know Oh, it's not really a husband. I'm just saying there is he current anyways. Um, I just hope I'm not defying the instructions of Today's feature. I want to share with you that the again, I hope this is not in violation of Rev cones that sells final dictum There's a very incredible account. I just you know, there's a There's a there's a little clip that you could find Where he's testifying and it's very clear that it's under oath state your name, right? And he begins to speak and clearly someone of great Importance interrupts him and says excuse me rabbi It's clear that you know, you're very well respected in the silence of the room. Everyone's hanging on your every word I don't know exactly what it was about for the the the Refivals that's I was trying to say that for a matter like this. I have no opinion We need to go to a court of Torah law of Torah authority of Bezden Which I am not a member of we need a thought and the man interrupts me says everyone has taken an oath and Refile says why don't you let me finish and the man says excuse me Bible says excuse me. Excuse me. You're interrupting me. Let me finish You don't know what I'm about to say. He was not afraid at all to say what needed to be said I Would share with you what my If she were Rob Kaufman who said it was a son of the only son-in-law He's an aid him by revival and he shared with me the following incredible account revival was in Eretzis throw I think it was about the flappish era. He never got involved in any of this Of even sign on things that were like he wasn't into all the other hot just the rots and a sham Just the what what mattered what was important, but what I'll share with you is that the so he once went to Eretzis throw to Discuss with some of the good daily Eretzis throw You're they leave you shall I am about the air event flappish and he went to really have to discuss probably out of and Really ashes says you have to go to the garaband I've gained some garabin And even though you're gonna get my signature some the ash advised him. You need to go to the garabas so that it's more Inclusive and you're addressing all elements of klycer. Okay, you went to the garabah and to go into the garabah Whatever maybe to give shall I whatever but there was a very long line and there were people that were bustling and hustling and The guy by quickly brushed men say You got a brock, you know as is the custom by the rebbers you get a brock any more and if I will said No, I'm gonna need some time And the guy who just looked it was like I'm gonna need some time. It's gonna take me a few minutes I need to talk to the rebel Okay, so he goes in he speaks to the rebel he starts, you know, they usher him in And the guy is no no now says no, I'm gonna need some time He turns to he didn't say his name. He didn't say who he was or what he had to talk about He said yet. He had someone with him. He said, I don't know if you're I just by the way Derek Harrods dictates that if someone comes you offer them a chair like I'm standing here I it would be appropriate that you offer a chair to someone who comes just that the passion Derek Hertz He tells the government so the guy that quickly brings a chair and he says, I don't know if you noticed I have someone else with me. We would we would need two chairs. So he brings two chairs to speak to the girl ever Why because that's their straight thing. It's just straightforward. That's what we do my passion What's right? Doesn't matter what's popular. It doesn't matter. I'm gonna show you a little bit of what's being read over here What's written from someone who as she says I was brought up in the family in the Tom Kater family the Kehila, of course, I dive in there a few times and On Ocean Avenue, I believe it is yeah between. I don't know. Anyways, so It's written that revival and I say this as the highest of praise. He wasn't charismatic He didn't draw people to him with the force of personal magnetism Which is a quality that may have its uses but all too often becomes a vehicle for inappropriate wielding of rabbinic power over others or worse revival compelled people with the still silent vote voice of total integrity and profound sincerity and the While the svarim of the bad asshulkan I mean you have to understand bad asshulkan is the mission of Rura on your idea I don't know if everyone appreciates the magnitude of what that means the man Wrote the mission of Rura on your idea. Okay, like the mission of time wrote the mission on our time. It's a it's a monumental work Extremely extremely well received in the whole truth is Israel and They're indispensable and because of their distinctive blue covers that the Rebbitson remembered that she chose It's it's they're very recognizable. He never had a flourishing yeshiva never, you know Blockbuster attendance at his shurim. He is lack of flashiness and the quiet power of his teaching his refusal to cater to those that like one a Warmer feel experience like a lot of talking made abiding no or a shorter drusher his personal integrity and insistence on it in others meant That while many have learned and continue to learn his Torah far fewer profited from his personal example But for those of us who are blessed to it has irrevocably shaped our lives and it's interesting that the haftara of Parashas told us the week in which he passed was It closes with the following second. We're gonna read in the haftar this week Teiras MS heist to the field listen to this Rebbe say The Tyra of truth was in his mouth the abliling insubmissive No injustice was found on his lips. It's such an incredible has been Beshalem of a Misha halachiti He walked with me in peace and fairness referring to Hashem. He walked with Hashem in peace and fairness The Robin Hayshev may oven he turned many away from sin Kisses a high and you should know does for the lips of a kind should safeguard Knowledge the Tyria back to me P you One should one should seek teaching from the mouth of the kind Why Kimalach Hashem spoke is who he's an agent of Hashem the the the master of lesions like Hazal say In Daim Le Malach Hashar is he back to turn me P you now. What does that mean? I think we can say it means is someone who's not swayed by human emotions or human Poles and desires and the Gia and biases just straight forward Total total unmitigated 100% focus on the roots of Hashem and nothing more He didn't sign all these like ish maca things of the Chayrem's and Kolkairi's and cold and this and that no straightforward. What's right? What's what's correct? What's the role? What's the halacha? What's the proper Ashka thought and nothing else?
