About Meydad Tassa

Meydad Tassa is a singer on Lehallel — the filtered YouTube platform. 167+ of his recordings can be watched here, with no ads and no comments.

Meydad Tassa sings Jewish song in Hebrew - songs of a child's trust in his Father in Heaven, of joy, and the prayers and piyutim of the siddur. Each song is here once, its most-watched recording, the most-watched first, with what its name means and the year it came out.

His best-known song, "Ratziti Ligdol" (I wanted to grow up), from 2023, has been watched on YouTube more than two million times. "Achim" (brothers), which he sings with Avishai Eshel, and "Osher Amiti" (true happiness) have each been watched nearly 900,000 times; "Yesh Bi Et HaKochot" (I have the strength) more than 600,000, and "Na'aseh Sameach" (let's make it joyful) more than half a million.

Then come "Lev Chazak" (a strong heart), "Ben Shel Melech" (a king's son), "Kach Et HaOr" (take the light), "Kol Yachol" (all-powerful), "Ani Im Abba'le" (I am with my Father), "Abba Tir'eh" (Father, look) and "LeTova VeLivracha" (for good and for blessing), each watched 300,000 times or more. 2026 brought "Alai Tishmor" (watch over me), "Tikunim U'Selichos" (repairs and forgiveness) and "Of Muzar" (a strange bird).

In August 2025 many of his earlier recordings came onto YouTube together, and they are here too: the prayers and piyutim - "Adon Olam", "Adon HaSelichos", "Keil Nora Alila", "Shema Yisrael", "Aleinu LeShabeach", "Ochila LaKeil", "Esa Einai", "Kah Shema Evyonecha", "Al Naharos Bavel", "Yisrael Asher Becha Espa'er", "Kabbalas Ol Malchus Shamayim", "Piha Pascha" - and songs of his own: "Ima" and "Ima Sheli" for his mother, "Rachel", "HaRav Elbaz", "Aviel Achi", "Yehudi BeNishmati" (a Jew in my soul) and "Elokim Todah" (thank You, G-d).

His medleys have a room of their own: a Simchas Beis HaShoeva medley, a medley of songs for the rabbis, "a revolution of joy", and two more. Each song and each medley opens on its own page, with no ads and no comments around it.

You can search inside the songs by what was said, play the whole catalog back to back, or follow Meydad Tassa to be told when something new comes in.
