We begin the Gemara today on the bottom of Tetzaveh, two lines from the bottom. It's Mar, so we learn the following argument. If the parsha of Shkalim, when you read parsha Shkalim is the parsha of Ki Sisa, so it came out in the week where you read parsha Tetzaveh. So what do you do then? Amar Rabi Yitzchak Nafcha, so Rabi Yitzchak Nafcha says you do as follows. So you have the first six aliyahs, the whole parsha Tetzaveh till the end, till the first pasuk of Ki Sisa. And then V'chad, and one more aliyah Mi Ki Sisa Ad V'asisa, where you read the parsha of Shkalim which starts from Ki Sisa. And you go until V'asisa, which is V'asisa Keirin Haches. Uh we're starting right now at the the top of Lamed Aleph. That's one opinion. Amar Abaya, so Abaya said about this, no, you can't do that. Why? Because then Akumi who the K'ma K'ma Amri that is, Amri Akumi who the K'ma K'ma Amri, so people will say that you just continued reading the parsha of Tetzaveh and the end of parsha Tetzaveh ends by the pasuk V'asisa Keirin Haches. They won't realize that you read something special over here for parsha Shkalim. They'll just say the parsha continues. It's the just the next pasuk. So you have to do something that people should realize that it's parsha Shkalim. So Amar Abaya, so therefore Abaya says what do you have to do? Kodesh Shita Mi Tetzaveh Ad V'asisa. You read the first six aliyahs from the beginning of Tetzaveh until into parsha Ki Sisa to the pasuk V'asisa Keirin Haches.
