We begin today the Gemara on daf yud aleph amud aleph right at the beginning of the amud. So, the Gemara here is in the middle of an inyan. We're discussing a machlokes between Rebbe Yochanan and Reish Lakish which began in the middle of daf yud amud bais. The machlokes there was regarding a chalitzah. One of the brothers was chiyuv to the yevamah. So, Reish Lakish's opinion is that brother there's only an issur lav for him to go ahead and marry her afterwards. And he ahead and marry her afterwards. And he learns it out from the pasuk "asher lo yivneh." But for the rest of the brothers that were not involved in this chalitzah at all, for them to marry this woman which was their brother's wife that passed away, it would be the issur of eishes achiv. An issur kares. Whereas that's Reish Lakish. Rebbe Yochanan disagrees. Rebbe Yochanan says, just like the one that did the chalitzah, it's now not anymore issur kares, it's only an issur lav like the pasuk says, similar b'negel to the rest of the brothers, it's also only an issur lav. brothers, it's also only an issur lav. Because the one that did chalitzah did the chalitzah for all of them. So, now it's an issur lav for everybody. The Gemara brought a braisa where the reisha of the braisa was a raya to Rebbe Yochanan and the seifa of the braisa was a raya to Reish Lakish. In the reisha of the braisa it says, when one of the brothers did chalitzah and then he went and married that woman. And then he passes away. So, what does the braisa say? That tzricha chalitzah min achin. That the brothers will have to do chalitzah for this woman. The question is, according
