What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Oster Gemara Shiur’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

We're going to read the Gamara on the cuff mem hay on the base. Six lines up from the bottom of the yomi where it says Rab Hanina Omar. Okay, the Gamara here quoted a possuk where it says in Mishlei "Kol yemei oni ra'im vetov lev mishteh tamid." Which simply means the days of a poor person are bad. And one that has a glad heart, he drinks constantly. So, what is this possuk talking about? The simple pshat of the possuk is speaking about a person that's poor. But the Masha'er says that the Gamara is going to explain that this possuk is speaking about other situations. And the speaking about other situations. And the reason is because the beginning of the possuk and the end of the possuk don't really match. It starts off with "yemei oni" and then it ends off with "tov lev". So, it should have ended off with speaking about someone that's rich as opposed to someone that's poor. So, therefore, the Gamara adds other pshatim besides the simple pshat of the possuk. The Gamara before brought up pshat from Rab Zeira and Rava. Now, the Gamara says Rab Hanina Omar. Rab Hanina says "Kol yemei oni ra'im" the days of a person that that are poor are bad. What does this mean? Zeh she'yesh lo isha ra'ah.
