About Rabbi David Ashear

Rabbi David Ashear is a rabbi and author of the Living Emunah books on Lehallel — the filtered YouTube platform. 103+ of his recordings can be watched here, with no ads and no comments.

Rabbi David Ashear is the author of the Living Emunah books and the voice of Daily Emunah. Everything he teaches comes back to one idea: it is all from Hashem, and a person who sees that lives a different life. The recordings here run from three-minute stories to hour-long shiurim.

His stories carry their lesson in their names - emunah, bitachon, prayer, chessed, mesirat nefesh, shidduchim, divine providence: "Five for Five", "The Midnight Call", "To Trust Hashem in the Dark", "Nothing Happens Randomly", "The Power of Forgiveness", "No Such Thing as Impossible", "The Childless Couples Who Prayed for Each Other", "The Miracle at Kever Rachel". Some are of the gedolim: the Chofetz Chaim, Rav Moshe Feinstein's tearful intervention for a student, and Rav Elyashiv zt"l in "The Elevator to Greatness".

His It's All Hashem series takes one thought at a time - "Man Has No Control", "The Right Place at the Right Time", "From Anxiety to Emuna", "The Greatest Tool for a Happy Marriage", "All Your Accomplishments Are a Gift". His longer shiurim - "Living a Life of Emunah", "How to Achieve Emunah", "Emunah Is My Life", "Seeing the Light Even Brighter" - were given at the Summer of Torah, at CHAZAQ ("Elul: Strongest Connection of the Year"), at Yachad's 2016 Melave Malka, in the Lighthouse Project's classes on emuna and shalom bayit, and at Kolot.

Through the year: "Rosh Hashanah: Believe in Your Potential", Elul, Tisha B'Av, Tu B'Av ("The Single Girl and the Childless Couple"), and Tehillim for Israel. Each opens on its own page, with no ads and no comments around it.

You can search inside the shiurim by what was said, play the whole catalog back to back, or follow Rabbi David Ashear to be told when something new comes in.
