one hi everyone thank you so much for joining us i am dr mindy knoll i'm president of droma and also a radiation oncologist in new york i'm really excited to be here tonight with all of you and thanks for joining us i'm going to introduce our amazing panel very soon i first wanted to thank um our co-host for tonight's event i'm just going to share my screen college of medicine and he received post-doctoral training at brigham and women's hospital affiliate of harvard medical school he is past chair of a clinical cardiology program committee of the american heart association and has been elected to prestigious scientific research and educational societies involving the american association of professors the american society for clinical investigation and american society of physicians welcome dr kadesh thank you so much dr noel let me start by thanking by thanking the jewish orthodox women's medical association for inviting me to speak this evening and for taking up the important topic of the covid 19 vaccine at this town hall the association should be applauded for its support mentorship and networking opportunities to jewish female physicians trainees and other health care professionals beyond this important work encouraging others to prevent the spread of covid and finding ways to get people in the community vaccinated as quickly as community vaccinated as quickly as possible is quite literally saving lives i'm no stranger to controversy surrounding vaccines beginning in january of 2020 my fellow physicians scientists and educators at turo and york medical college have worked hard to debunk mythology and misinformation about covid prevention and about vaccines it's important to know while resistance to covet vaccination and resistance to restrictions
