Hi everybody. My name is Brocha Sunshine. Um I'm one of the members of the JOWMA's Women's Health Committee. JOWMA is a organization of over a thousand Jewish women physicians, physicians to be, all dedicated to professional growth, community service, and advancing health care knowledge. Our members span nearly every medical specialty and serve as a brain trust for the community acting as liaisons between community members, health stakeholders, community members, health stakeholders, including hospitals and government agencies. Through education, mentorship, and advocacy, JOWMA empowers its members while providing free, culturally sensitive, and accessible health information. Our vision is a Jewish community with easy access to relevant health information so individuals and families can make informed medical decisions. Um wanted to welcome everybody to our webinar entitled "Moms in Medicine: Surviving and Thriving in Medical School." This is part one of a two-part series. The part one of a two-part series. The second part's going to be about moms in residency and fellowship. It'll be in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
