hi everyone um my name is shashana marcus i'm a pre-med student at stern college for women and i'd like i'd like to thank you all for coming to this wonderful event tonight i'd like to personally welcome dr sarah rosannel rosanelle chair of the networking committee at jama as well as dr ivey shai newman medical director of the hatselah air response team jama is the jewish orthodox women's medical association it is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to providing support networking opportunities and mentorship to jewish opportunities and mentorship to jewish female physicians trainees and pre-medical students as well as providing preventative health and women's health education and patient advocacy to the orthodox jewish community founded in 2019 jama has spearheaded many initiatives to provide his support to the orthodox jewish community both in and out of the medical profession with their community ranging from physicians to pre-medical students some initiatives include the covid 19 vaccine education hotline a podcast and vaccine education hotline a podcast and numerous events focused on health education for women and girls we'd like to thank jama for organizing tonight's event in partnership with hatsela air the hotel air response team mission is to provide arrange facilitate and fund local national and worldwide air transportation to those in need due to medical humanitarian disaster relief compassion and or charitable reasons aiding the community for over 50 years hatsale air answers calls 24 7 to help
