foreign preventative health podcast hosted by the Jewish Orthodox Women's Medical Association we provide you with up-to-date information on health topics geared towards the Orthodox Jewish Community this podcast content is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice or as a substitute for the medical advice um she's really really honest and open about her own feelings and experiences and I think that gives a unique window into how doctors think which is the title oh not one of her books there is a book called How doctors think by Jerome groupman and um I feel like she takes that aspect of um the doctor's perspective and takes it into the feeling realm and that's the name of her book what doctors feel how emotions affect the practice of medicine from 2013 um and she also wrote What patients say um and she also wrote What patients say what doctors here 2017 and her latest book as I mentioned earlier is when we do harm a doctor confronts medical error we really have to rebuild the trust that has eroded so much during the pandemic although it was eroding before too and I think that all three of these books that I mentioned are linked by the centrality of the human relationship between the doctor and patient trust has to be earned and relationships take work
