get started okay welcome to joma's women's health committee webinar on cancer prevention and screening i am dr denise moses treasurer of the jomo women's health committee i'm a board-certified obgyn in queens new york i would like to introduce our moderator for this evening dr rachel kirschenbaum rachel kirshenbaum is currently a third year resident in obstetrics and gynecology at lenox hill hospital in new york and plans on becoming a generalist ob gyn though originally from a suburb of chicago rachel has been in new york since first attending stern college for undergrad and then went on to earn her medical degree from albert einstein college of medicine she is incredibly passionate about women's health and is also interested in global health having visited guatemala south africa and kenya on medical missions she is very excited to be participating in her first live joma event with you tonight thanks much dr moses at a jewish orthodox women's medical association also known as joma is a non-profit organization whose membership includes jewish orthodox female physicians and trainees our department the women's health committee was created with the goal of increasing access to women's health education to the orthodox community thereby empowering women to be better equipped as self-advocates we believe it's important to have a baseline understanding of certain topics in order to be able to ask the right questions and therefore have an
