good evening everyone I want to first of all thank you all for taking time of of your busy schedules to join us tonight thank you for being here and I'm excited to hear all our speakers have to share with us I'd first like to introduce myself I tonight's moderator my name is Vivian deria and I'm a first year medical student at Sunni downstate medical school I recently graduated from New York University where I earned my bachelor's in Biochemistry and I minored in child and Adent mental health studies I would now like to introduce our first Speaker of the night Dr Kaplan will be addressing the muscular skeletal aspects of postp Life Dr Kaplan MD is a board certified physiatrist she graduated sumacom loud from the Sophie De Davis School of biomedical education and her medical degree from Sunni downstate Medical Center she completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship in women's health Rehabilitation at Monir Medical Center Dr Kaplan currently works in the Private Practice in New York where she treats patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders including conditions prevalent during the pregnancy and postp period thank you Dr Kaplan for joining us we look forward from to hearing from you if you could take the stage thank you very much for inviting me I'm really excited to be talking tonight because it's a topic I'm really passionate about I'm going to share my screen right so uh tonight we're going to be talking about about muscular schal conditions in the postpartum period as I said I'm really passionate about this
