hey hi everyone thank you for joining us for tonight's grand rounds um before i introduce the speaker for tonight i just want to say that if anyone has any questions at all at any point throughout the talk tonight just write them in the q a box at the bottom of your screen and we'll get to them at the end and now i'd like to introduce our speaker tonight dr elizabeth coleman is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer memorial sloan kettering center she is an internationally sought after clinician and physician scientist recognized her compassion and easy to comprehend communication with patients she is also an assistant professor of she is also an assistant professor of medicine at weill cornell medical college dr coleman earned her ba in the history of science from harvard college and randy from harvard medical school she completed her residency in internal medicine at mount sinai hospital and her fellowship in oncology at memorial sloan kettering cancer center dr coleman is the recipient of numerous prestigious grants and awards including department of defense breakthrough award for breast cancer the american society of clinical oncology young investigator award and multiple grants from the breast cancer research foundation and the susan g komen foundation among others her research has been published in prestigious scientific journals
