It's a little embarrassing to say this. But for some reason today, I had a plan to prepare a shear for tonight. I really did. I had piles of books, notebooks, notepads. And I was rolling up my sleeves, ready to really jump into it and prepare something that I thought would try to open the hearts and the eyes of our listeners in this unbelievable parashah of Bil'am and Balak. And boy, is there what to talk about. The minute I opened up and started to research and look into the parashah for the nekudah, the mafte'ah, that's going to open our hearts and my heart on this sugiyah, something to share, something to bring home. That was the moment that the yetzer hara started buzzing my phone, like off the hook. I picked up one call, it was an emergency, somebody with their kid. I picked up another call, it was an emergency, somebody in the family. And it was just nonstop. Nonstop. It dragged along so that this big meeting that I had late this afternoon crept up out of me out out of nowhere. I had to run to it. And I'm walking in tonight without a class. So I had a choice. Cancel the class. Or do something that's important for me. Use this as the opportunity to realize that there was never a class I gave that I prepared. But to recognize and realize and old malevolent that every class and every word call the every breath that we take Hashem allowed you to take that breath. Oh boy, we learned that in Corona, didn't we? So many people in the beginning March, April, May, they were fighting fighting for all different types of ventilators and oxygen machine, which I never know from that. But they were fighting for every breath.
