All right. Thank you all so much for joining JOMA tonight for ground rounds on medical ethics, managing moral distress and uncertainty in medicine featuring Dr. Jessica Kovitz Lech. The Jewish Orthodox Women's Medical Association is a dynamic organization of over 800 Jewish Orthodox women in medicine, dedicated to professional growth, community service, and advancing healthcare knowledge. Through education, mentorship, and advocacy, JOMA empowers its members, and Tonight we have the privilege of hearing from Dr. Jessica Kovitz Lynch. Um Dr. Kovitz is boardcertified neurologist practicing in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from Concordia University with a liberal arts and English degree before entering medicine and then graduated from University of Sherbrook me um med school and then residency in the University of Montreal. She then did post-graduate work in neuroeththics at the University of Montreal as well. Um she has been working as a general she has been working as a general neurologist and neuroethicist at McGill University since 2012 and she is the chair of the re research ethics committee at St. Mary's Hospital and the Greater University System REB since 2018. She is the course director for the neurology component of the transition to clinical practice at McGill University. She's also the proud wife and mother of three independent teen and pre-teen daughters and two poodles. She is active daughters and two poodles.
