if you like stories tonight is going to be something special i'll be honest with you when it comes to this parasha every year i always try to give over something at least something new on the great bout between yaakov avinu and the sarva isaf as he went back to get the pahingtanim already last week's parashat we already highlighted that those little jars weren't just insignificant jars those jars had the oil that was inside the stick of yaakov avinu which he used that oil to learn torah 14 years today night until finally the beginning of last week's parashat which was the first night in 14 years that yaakov avinu decided to go to sleep we had an entire shiur on that but the oil that he used to anoint the rock as a matseva the oil that he used to be able to learn 14 years day and night in shenver was later on says the shakhala torah the oil that he went back for in those small jars of the parchemin later on those jars of the parchment that he went back for was the very parchement that shows up in the time of the story of hanukkah the miraculous one jar of oil left that was untouched that came from the oil of yaakov avinu and that was the oil of the nests of hanukkah it was the oil of the torah of yaakov 14 years that's unbelievable and when he went back for those jars and he went back for that oil he went back for the oil that kept his torah going for 14 years and that's why the holiday hanukkah is the holiday of torah because it was the torah oil
