grand round for tonight and it's a very timely topic on health equity, discrimination, and anti-Semitism in medicine given by Dr. Jackie Benayoun, who is a recent graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn who's about to begin her residency in pediatrics at Westchester Medical Center this summer. So, mazel tov. She received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry at Yeshiva University and worked as a Mazel tov and all the newly minted Gelman physicians, Dr. Miriam Andrusier, Dr. Jackie Benayoun, Dr. Eliana Finefeld, Dr. Penina Gross Richmond, Dr. Molly Hagler, and Dr. Tamar Seidman, huge congratulations. Mazel tov to you all, we're so proud of you. So, welcome everyone. Thank you for coming. We're going to be talking about health equity, talking about health equity, discrimination, and anti-semitism in medicine. And as Dr. Weinstock described, this was very much inspired by some recent events and just important topics that come up in health care all the time and really things that we as physicians and health care professionals are going to encounter throughout all levels of our training.
