hi my name is elisa minkin i'm a general pediatrician and i'm also the co-chair of the jewish orthodox women's medical association or joma preventative health committee and i'm really excited to be here today with yafi lavova i hope i'm pronouncing your name right yes that was perfect oh good awesome yaffi is a registered dietitian nutritionist and that's really important to know by the way to have that registered dietitian degree is important to look for when you're looking for a nutritionist i i strongly believe that and i only use registered dietitians when i refer to nutritionists which i do every single day she's also a twin mom and she's passionate about providing nutrition education for pregnant or breastfeeding women help with nutrition for colicly or fussy babies and help with the initial food introduction which as we know does not always go so smoothly so it's really a wide range a wide spectrum of people that you're working with which is super super awesome um she graduated magna laude with a bachelors of science in nutrition and dietetics from arizona state university in 2010 and went on to complete a dietetic internship at iowa state university so i'm going to let yafi talk more about what she does rather than go through her whole bio but i'm just going to give you a little highlights because we've got like a whole bunch of cool things that she does and i'm going to just give you the highlights and give her a chance to to talk about what she does um it's important to know that she works from an intuitive eating and health at every size philosophy and we did do what um a podcast earlier my very first one with gila glassberg on intuitive eating so you can check that
