Ben sorer - Ki seitzei - Shem Mishmuel

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Avi Fishoff — TWiSTED Parenting’s own words— taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

So the Haley Gushar has to say to him, "Ben sorer umorer, you have a kid who does not listen. He's rebellious and defiant. What did he actually do?" Garnish. He took his tatty's credit card. He went on Uber Eats. He ordered a steak. He got some wine. You know, for that you kill him? So the Gemara says, "He will end up in a few years from now joining a gang, selling drugs, and people are going to die." If somebody is running in the street with a gun, you don't wait for him to pull the trigger. You got to kill him now. There's a problem with that. The Gemara in Sanhedrin Daf Perek says, "Sheratsu over the email limchalei michlen. Mommy, Daddy come." And they say, "We're michlen. I forgive you." So you forgive him. So the Shem Mishmuel says, "I don't understand. But you're not killing him for what he did to the parents, for ordering Uber Eats and getting some wine. Because we determined that he for sure will be a murderer. So then if Mommy and Tatty come and they say, 'I forgive you,'
