The daf learner's dilemma

Most daf yomi shiurim live on YouTube — the maggidei shiur upload there, and the recordings are excellent. The trouble was never the shiur. It is the platform around it: the thumbnails beside it, the autoplay after it, the comments below it. A person sits down for forty minutes of Chullin and surfaces an hour later somewhere else entirely.

For a family that keeps its home filtered, that trade is not acceptable — and skipping the daf is not acceptable either.

The same shiurim, without the platform
