[Music] do [Music] i'm very happy that i have been married for 19 happy years and as you see on the description of this lecture i wrote that for anyone who has children between 1 and 18 and some people were surprised why do we have to start preparing our children for marriage when they are one year old and um as someone reminded me of the story that someone came to a great rabbi for a blessing and he said rabbi we had a baby uh please bless us for that we should raise them well and the rabbi said you came to me a few years too late say rabbi what do you mean until now we didn't have children and he said yes the time to start raising children is before they're born because first you have to learn how to raise them you have to pray for them and then when they're born you already have to start you cannot just receive the blessing it's already a few years too late so similar with marriage if you say you know will think about marriage when they are of marriageable age by time they become marriageable age and you ask your children are you ready for marriage you say what marriage we never heard of marriage let us have fun and let us enjoy our life and in fact that's what's happening in um the secular world in the united states and all over with the western world what's happening is what in the in in the jewish way we call the shidduch crisis but the
