I'd like to thank uh the rabbi for the introduction. Now, whenever I get a uh an introduction that I don't really deserve, I uh can hardly wait to hear what I have to say. Uh this uh discussion about Pesak is divided into two sections, the is divided into two sections, the physical and the spiritual. uh the physical uh Pesak has to certain extent evolved over the centuries. The original centerpiece of Pesak was the Corbin Pesak was the uh sacrifice that was brought here in Yuralim. was brought in Mitsayim was brought in the desert and it was brought in Shilo. Uh the we are not at all uh accustomed uh psychologically to the entire idea of the Corbin which occupied the central role. Josephus writes in that in the last Corbin Pesak that he saw in the year 64 before the rebellion broke out. So he said there were a quarter of out. So he said there were a quarter of a million sheep that were slaughtered here uh on the uh hills of Jerusalem where the Corbin Pesak was eaten.
