all right here we go so we are restarting our series on pavos um which lands us towards the end of the third chapter which is where we left off a little over a year ago um a little less than a year ago probably um and uh and we once again will be learning pus with based on the commentary of the midm UHA was a I guess 16th century Rabbi inat in the Heyday ofat hanging out with the likes of rosef Cairo and the arisal and the mait and some just a really unbelievable time in and place in our history and uh and his contribution um to I think he was a rosesa maybe and also a cabalist and uh rosesa maybe and also a cabalist and uh and he wrote a lengthy commentary on alos called midm he also wrote a commentary on on uh The Book of Ruth on Migel s Rus which we refer to a little bit in our series on on Russ um I think that was called Iger sh the letter of Sho there's he also has a commentary on migas Esther which we have now I think um and uh was recently printed I believe um and I love it and he brings many um and I love it and he brings many different approaches he draws on different other commentaries and then offers his own insights and often very novel readings of the mishos so we start with what I'm calling mishna 17 yod Zan and uh I say that I'm calling it that because actually I didn't see anyone else call it that but on safaria it's listed as Mish 15 of the chapter in the Arts girl it's the 19 and uh this is somewhere in between is to call it 17
