[Music] happy hanukkah happy hanukkah good evening tonight is the eighth night of hanukkah and um our sages say that the best thing you can do on hanukkah in general and especially on the eighth night of hanukkah is to learn torah because the the light of the candles represents that hidden light that hashem put away at the beginning of creation because that light was so good and hashem said that the creation the and hashem said that the creation the world is not ready for that light yet in the future i will uh bring that light back for the tsadikim for the righteous people and even though that light is hidden we have access to that light through torah within the torah we have light when the person learns tor he has access to that that spiritual light that is hidden for everyone else everyone else but the person who learns torah he is tapping into that spiritual reservoir of of that great light and also on hanukkah we have ability to bring down that light in the lights of hanukkah we have burning the light of the first days of creation that is why it's good to look at hanukkah candles to see how they're burning and when you have hanukkah and you're and when you have hanukkah and you're learning torah then you have a square light light square which means you have um a much higher dose of that light coming in to your neshama so on the eighth night of hanukkah when we have the strongest spiritual light coming in and we learn the torah that is the best way to
