okay good evening and thank you once again for joining us here on zoom um this is the third class so the way things have worked out so far was we do a lot of introduction really um to the concepts uh sort of of how the life of avraham and the other patriarchs and matriarchs are really more than just limited to themselves limiting it to their own lives but as limiting it to their own lives but as the roots of the jewish people of the jewish nation so they their actions their activities are first of all a prophecy to some extent for some of the future events that the jewish people have experienced and will experience but also their actions and their accomplishments and maybe even their failures um imbue us with similar traits and similar abilities similar traits and similar abilities so those tests that they've been able to overcome they were able to overcome we are imbued with those powers those abilities to overcome similar challenges and the the character traits that the forefathers and four mothers developed are passed down to us as well and so there are signs of a descendant of avraham has certain attributes and certain traits so the most famous trait perhaps of so the most famous trait perhaps of avraham is his hassan his acts of kindness and that's what i want to focus on tonight um i decided i think the best way to approach this is not always to go chronologically but rather more thematically so we're going to see a couple of episodes tonight about that relate to avraham's facet his kindness and really try to zero in on some insights of you know how how
