Okay. Um what I put on the WhatsApp What would you say to someone who asked you "How do you know the Torah is true?" Now, that's a big question. And uh one could go on and on about it, but I'd like to offer you a couple of things that you could say a couple of things that you could say to get the person thinking, assuming that he's asked the question in good faith. It means means it seriously. A couple of things that you could say to get him thinking. >> [snorts] >> And let me introduce the first one with a kind of parable. So, we're imagining a fellow who born, let's say, 1905 in America into a religious family. He goes up. Maybe he goes to college. And people ask him about Torah and one of the things he mentions is that the Torah believes the world was created by God and that was the beginning of everything. So that the world is only a certain So that the world is only a certain amount of years old. And supposedly the answer that he gets, which is very likely, is a reaction of incredulity. What? What? You believe that the world is created? My gosh. Um how ignorant can you be? The whole of history and all of the thinkers, all the philosophers, and all
