all right so we are learning pure K elos chapter three and this week's mishna I called mishna 19 um because it's the 19th one that we're doing in this chapter although as I've mentioned different uh printings break them up differently but is the mishna that begins RAB Lazer B aaria om and uh it's quite a long Mission at least the way it's broken up here it's combin it's consider one miss here I think we'll consider one miss here I think we'll probably cover the first half and save the second half for next time so uh okay so the mishna says as follows said t if you don't have Torah then you don't have derit derit is literally means like the way of the land um but the land um but uh but we'll see we'll see different uh when we use it colloquially darar usually means like respect for people um proper conduct so that may be one way to to read this Mish we'll see there might possibly be others so if a person doesn't have Torah then they don't have d d a Torah on the other hand if you don't have then you don't have Torah if one doesn't have will just Loosely translate that as wisdom then they don't have yur they don't have fear or awe of God if you don't have fear or a of God then you don't have you don't have wisdom if you don't have which for now we translate as understanding it's very vague translation but uh then you don't have and again we'll Loosely translate
