And this is 18 questions 40 Israeli thinkers from 1840. And now for our last question. Do you have more hope or fear for Israel and the Jewish or fear for Israel and the Jewish people? I asked this question to 40 Israeli thinkers over the course of one year from June 2024 to June 2025. And this was the last question that I asked every single person because beyond all of the intellectual things that we discussed about democracy, religion and state, morality, the conflict, the future of the conflict, every single person goes home at night, goes back to their family in the state of Israel that is not just an abstract country or an abstract subject to them, but is their abstract subject to them, but is their country. It is where they live. It is where their family lives, where their loved ones live. And when they go to bed at night, in some ways they might be asking themselves, do I have more hope or fear for my people and for my country? And all the answers were very, very fascinating. This is one of those answers that stuck out to me from the entire series from how overwhelmingly almost every single thinker said that without a doubt hope persisted. for Gotti Taub, a right-wing public
