I'm your host David Bashevkin and today we are exploring our annual exploration of form of tshoua that we are seeing before our eyes and that is tshoua which literally means return. We always talk about return to ourselves, return to that spiritual part, return to God. I think there is a different form of tshoua which is tshoua to community. You know I grew up and most communities that people lived in it felt like they had existed forever. Felt like the community that I grew up in was like there from the beginning of creation. And now what I hear over and over again was when people were growing up and moving into different Jewish communities, there was like a struggle with finding community, building community. And especially now post October 7th, I think there are so many Jews who are awakening. They're returning to their own self. They're returning to God. They're returning to Jewish life. But sometimes the last struggle which for many people could be so hard is like how do I return to Jewish community? What's the community that makes sense for me and today's conversation is with an absolutely remarkable couple students of my dear friend RLomocats. What I find so remarkable about this couple is aside from their own tshoua story which we absolutely explore. What I find so amazing is they are beginning a new community in Israel.
