Thank you for coming. This week's para is parat and last year I gave a sh on this para entitled holy cow which is all about the paradum. So, I'm not going to speak that much about the power of Duma this week. I want to tell you a story that I heard on Shabbat, a true story. I have a friend who is a high court I have a friend who is a high court barristister and he told me the following story he heard through his legal channels. It didn't happen to him. It happened to somebody that he knew. So this friend of his is a solicitor and there was a court certain court case that he was adjudicating. He was actually defending the he was defending the witness. Who was the witness? It was a an owner of a dog that was going to be the dog was going to be tried under dangerous dogs act because this dog had dangerous dogs act because this dog had mauled somebody. Very unpleasant case. So, this solicitor got up to defend the witness who was the owner of this dog. And what could he do? Could he defend the witness himself? That wasn't his necessarily his first tactic. His first tactic was to defend the dog. So, he got up in front of the court and he said, "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I would like to explain to you a little something about this dog. something about this dog. This dog could never have perp perpetrated this crime. This dog is a friendly family dog. And you can tell it's a family dog. You can tell even by its name. This dog's name is Stan.
