all right here we go so welcome to the first class of paraa illuminated we're begin with Paras Noah which is this week's Torah portion um just a couple words of introduction so this slot this 12:15 Wednesday slot has been uh ongoing uh classes and uh different topics and uh I'm excited to start the weekly paraa because it's been a very long time since I gave a class on the paraa I think I only did it once for a very short time so it's kind of new territory in terms so it's kind of new territory in terms of teaching a class um so the style of the class is going to be that I'm going to pick either one or two kind of small topics within the paraa and try to learn as much as we can we'll do a little bit shot a little bit of the simple understanding explanation of what's going on and then try to take some lessons from it as well um your participation is definitely welcome so if you have a question that welcome so if you have a question that jumps out from you when we read a verse or whatever it might be so feel free to chime in or if you have your own idea you want to share so feel free to chime in um if you did not uh email me to receive the source sheets then you did not receive the source sheet um this time I'm going to try to drop it into the chat um so that uh whoever didn't do that can have it I can figure out how cuz I haven't done this in a
