okay so we have been discussing chabus and uh the depths of chabas the beauty of chabus and uh we're taking it step by step and uh today I want to really examine the prayers of chabas a little bit and in particular note a few curious things that we find specifically when it comes to the prayers of shabas that we don't find in find in other um in in our other liturgy so uh so that we know the the primary prayer that's s every day you know really three times a day is what we often call Shon although Shon really just means 18 because it was initially 18 blessings on shabas happens doesn't have 18 blessings it just has seven blessings as is the case on a yov on a holiday um but uh so the also we sometimes call the but uh so the also we sometimes call the amida the standing prayer so the the amid the EST for chabas um as I mentioned is composed of seven blessings the first three are the same as the first three that we say every day the last three are the same as the last three and it's that middle one that's the where the differen is we take out the 13 middle blessings that we normally have and uh replace it with just one special blessing for shabis and that's special blessing for shabis and that's the same thing that we do for a yto for a holiday and the same thing we do for for really all the holidays um whether it's w shalin the three pilgrimage holidays of P shus or for Yumer or for Rashana all those follow the same pattern except that there's one very significant difference and that is that every day we have again Theon EST it's 19 blessings it started as 18 now it's
