with you uh probably not only for this lecture but for the next next number of lectures one of the uh legendary people personages amongst the Jewish people that's theer mayor pan now due to the fact that the H is such a legendary personality uh many uh biographies and stories have been written about him a stories have been written about him a great many of which are uh I wouldn't say not accurate they're just not true and uh that do just start in our time when uh for various reasons we find that uh stories and biographies of great Jews of previous uh Generations are changed or modified or adjusted to meet the standards and the Norms that we feel are acceptable today but uh even at the uh time when was uh but uh even at the uh time when was uh dead only a few years um in his lifetime many bogus uh stories and uh events and even uh viewpoints regarding the world were advanced in his name uh that is undoubtedly the price that one has to pay for being the leading Jew of the generation for living uh into his 10th decade uh for being the author of so decade uh for being the author of so many famous and basic Works in Jewish life law and uh for being the holy man of the Jewish people uh there's a story that's told about a great Rabbi that wrote a book of biographies and stories and it is said that when he came he wrote it in Israel and it said that when he came to Israel he came with two suitcases two in
