okay thanks so much for joining us um welcome feel free to uh eat lunch as we as we learn or uh um please feel free to I'm gonna mute everyone but feel free to unmute to comment or ask questions I can assure you I will not have all the answers um but uh we'll uh we'll try uh we'll try to work on this we'll try uh we'll try to work on this topic together so the topic is In God We Trust we're going to be exploring the idea of Italian we'll try to Define that but for now we'll just call it trusting God Reliance on God and uh and we're the the learning that we do will be focused around the Kobo salvados the duties of the heart section on trusting God will get into that shortly just as a bit of an that shortly just as a bit of an introduction so in this week's Torah portion we have the episode where the tribes the brothers of Yosef of Joseph they um they get upset with him they throw him in a pit and then they decide that instead of just leaving him to die in the pit they will sell him to some traveling uh merchants and to some traveling uh merchants and the the verse there reads it's in chapter 37 verse 25. they sat to eat bread and lifted their eyes and saw and behold a caravan of ishmaelites was coming from gilad and their camels were carrying spices Balsam and latinum um these different kinds of spices going to bring them down to Egypt and the verse goes on and it describes how they uh that they just basically decided to sell
