[Music] good morning today we are continuing learning the partial of the week today the parashat is parashat told told means the the offspring of its heart we read last week that uh yitzhak got married and uh this week the torah tells us on page 125 of the arts that these are the children of yitzhak but before we continue of yitzhak but before we continue the torah tells us don't forget that avraham gave birth to its heart and and midrash says why does the torah need to tell us that avraham is yitzhak's father and that is because people were spreading rumors people were saying that you know who yitzhak's father is avi what do you mean oh remember sarah was abducted oh remember sarah was abducted by avi miller probably she became pregnant from him and in order to cancel out these these allegations the torah says avraham gave birth to yitzhak how do we know the midrash says because avraham and his haqq looked like twins its heart looked exactly like avraham so that that anyone who saw it when he grew up right away said oh this is avraham's son when yitzchak was a baby people said oh it's avi malek's son but when isa grew up everyone said now we know for sure that this is avraham's son now the torah tells us 20 yitzhak was 40 years old when he took rivkah and as we mentioned last week according to midrash it is three years according to midrash it is three years old at this point uh there are other sources that say that she was older eight years old nine years old 12 years old different opinions so take whichever one you like but we're gonna work with the the common opinion that she was three years old now because she was three years old they waited for 10 years before
