The para illuminated for parasa midbar. We're beginning a new safer a newish and that's always exciting. And we're going to discuss primarily one section of the para this week and that is the second chapter bay chapter 2 which begins with the instructions for the positioning of the different tribes within the camp and as well as this within the camp and as well as this description of something called degull flags that they that they were assigned. So uh so the first chapter beginning about midbar begins with uh an instruction to count the people and the actual count and uh and then it transitions into the following. Chapter 2 verse one about and Hashem spoke to Moshe and to saying each man shall encamp here they say by his division with the flag staffs of their father's house that's the the is the flag um some distance from the tent of meeting they shall encamp and then I didn't give you all the verses but I just gave the there were basically four sections and each section consisted of three tribes so one section in verse three it so one section in verse three it says those camping in front to the east those were that was the tribe of Yehuda and then in verse 10 it has that those camping to the south was the tribe of Ruvane And those camping to the west was a fryim and to the east was um sorry to the north was done. And uh and under the verses go through under each of those there were two other tribes um but these were kind of the the headings of
