okay welcome back so this is class number two of fundamentals of prayer we're going to try to um expand expound on what we developed last week it's really if you weren't here last week it's okay we're just going to reference it a little bit but most of it will be new but what i what i want to do is also take what we learned and apply it to the new concepts and tie everything together so we're sort of creating a broader picture just want to mention a broader picture just want to mention one idea which i came across which i think is important um which is that any in any field or any hobby or anything that we do in life as we engage in it more we hope that we become better at it and if we don't become better then it probably means that we are not putting in the right the requisite effort the requisite amount of thought and and the same thing is true with and and the same thing is true with prayer that it over the years i don't think this necessarily happens but it should we should get better at prayer we should we should develop those skills and and and work on them and and and end up in a better place than we were a few years ago when we started out so i think it's just something important to think about you know how am i what am i doing to improve and uh and obviously you know attending classes about prayers are important and then but not just
