Amrei shmeitz d'mei chashcha. They also say dark words. So this leads us to what we have the Gemara in Sanhedrin that says "D'meuchshachim ushavani." "Put me in darkness." That's Talmud Bavli. Bavel is considered to be darkness. And the Maharal there goes to explain "What's the idea that Talmud Bavli is chashoicha?" Is that the Talmud of Bavel is a lot of pilpul, a lot of back and forth. And things are not clear. That's what's called "Meuchshachim ushavani." Meaning the Torah in Bavel is not clear. That's the choshech, that's the darkness. That's what it's referred to over here as well. And it's like a play on this similar thing in Likutei Amarim. He explains that what the choshech of Bavel does is the fact that you're focusing so much on the shaklei v'taryei, you forget the ikar of Torah is. The Torah is to come and talk regarding revealed to you the gilu of Kedusha Baruch Hu. When a person is so focused on the back and forth, he forgets about that. And we're holding in Megillah daf Sanhedrin sends us to the loshon of the Zohar Chadash, that's daf kuf alef.
