The 40th day is connected connected to connected to neshama. So when you're looking at the whole thing as one yetzira, this body that was created in 40 days needs malkus and connected the 40 days you have 40 malkus. But once you get to the 40th, once you fix the first 39, there's no malkus connected 40th because cuz neshama is connected to the male.
