Good evening everyone. Thank you for coming. Special thank you to um Abat for um letting us participate in this sure. I'd like to welcome Rabbi Wine. I want to say that um one of the greatest honors of my life was about 27 or 28 years ago when Rabbi was about 27 or 28 years ago when Rabbi Wine entrusted me to be his successor at in my um this was a very beautiful beautiful show, a beautiful group of people. some of them here tonight and uh most importantly it was the um literally the handiwork of Rabbi Wine putting together this beautiful kahila. So um I was very very honored by that. I still continue to be honored and uh thank you Rabbi Wine and from that in a thank you Rabbi Wine and from that in a way came this. So um we all appreciate you. Rabbi Wine is known to everybody already as probably one of the most articulate voices in Orthodox Judaism. Great to an expert in Jewish history as everyone knows a sage. But um there's even more and more But um there's even more and more important reason why um everyone should pay a very careful attention when Revine speaks. Um and the reason is that in every generation since Mosher the great speaker is great. There were the Bali Masura and the Bali Masura were able to tell the people the people what we did in the past and what we should do in the future. They have a kind of a a view, a look of understanding history and what the Jewish people is supposed to look like and how not to um go away from that path. And uh these Bali Masura they kept the Jewish people honest because for so many generations we've tried to go this way and go that way and new movements and it
