okay welcome back this is class number three of our series on the Book of Ruth Migel estrus kindness and commitment a journey through the Book of Ruth and we are in chapter two we just started the chapter um which means we fell behind Pace but we'll see today if we can catch up I'm not so confident but uh we'll do what we can and uh and we're starting we left off chapter 2 I think we read verse left off chapter 2 I think we read verse three um just to recap what's going on so uh so in chapter one this wealthy man Ali he leaves with his family from the land of Israel and goes to Moab to avoid a uh famine that's going on in the land of Israel to avoid uh having to support the poor and uh Alik dies his sons maon and Kon marry um moite women Mo princesses according um moite women Mo princesses according to Kaz um they are Russen arpa M and K die Nai the wife of Al decides it's time to return to Israel she tries to convince her daughters in law not to come with her arpa agrees and goes back home but Russ says I'm coming with you and uh Russ comes with naami to the land of Israel upon the return in chapter two they are poor they actually they own property nami's family owns property but
