all right so we are continuing to talk about his status uh the effort that according to Columbus the person is required to put into sustaining oneself taking care of oneself um we we saw that language last week that he called it an obligation there is an obligation for a person to not say not say oh I'm just trust in God that he'll take care of everything but rather we actually are required to put forth our own effort to take care of at least our basic needs we're gonna see that divides different types of things or into different categories there's like basic needs then there's luxuries and these will be in different categories um and person's approach to them is um and person's approach to them is should be different but at least for for for taking care of one's basic needs a person has to put in effort and the question that he was dealing with that we just began discussing last week was why not necessarily why is that the case he sets out to prove that that's the case but why did God why does God want us to have to put forth effort and care for have to put forth effort and care for ourselves why you know it's obviously like a big question to ask about why God does things but he feels like it's a question that he he can take on and so why did God put such assistant into creation that requires us to pursue our own needs um at least minimally you know you can argue that well in in the original plan um and gun it and in the Garden of Eden they were supposed to have everything
